The 2024 Belgian Grand Prix is poised to be held in a town and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium called Stavelot on 28 July.
What to know about the Belgian Grand Prix
The first national race of Belgium was held in 1925 at the Spa region's race course and the event takes place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps informally referred to as Spa.
It is one of the most popular races on the Formula One calendar, due to the scenic and historical Spa-Francorchamps circuit being a favourite of drivers and fans.

The Hungarian Grand Prix which was the 13th round of the 2024 Formula One World Championship was won by Oscar Piastri of McLaren on 21 July.
His teammate Landon Norris finished second while Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton secured a third-place finish at the Hungaroring in Mogyoród.
Standings
Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen is still placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings despite failing to win the last three races.
Norris, Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc, and Carlos Sainz Jr, Piastri and Hamilton are placed second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth respectively on the standings.

Verstappen will be determined to defend the Belgian Grand Prix title, but he will be up against the likes of Leclerc, Sainz Jr, Piastri and Norris once again.
Hamilton, who has won four Belgian Grand Prix tiles, will be targeting his fifth victory at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
